RITA or "La Red Internacional de Transformación y Apoyo" is a non-profit Colombian organization that seeks to improve the living conditions of people in a vulnerable situation or at risk of social exclusion.

The network, created and made up of a global network of Professional from Norte de Santander who have completed higher education programs abroad and with international professional experience, develops social and educational projects jointly with its volunteers and partner organizations, aiming to provide opportunities of development to communities.

RITA operates in the department of Norte de Santander, located in northeastern Colombia, bordering Venezuela. Despite having an initial scope defined only this department of the country, it seeks to benefit communities living in it regardless of race, ethnicity, color, sex, religion, age, nationality, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, identity and / or gender expression or disability

RITA's projects include the component of education and professional development, promoting activities that foster the exchange of knowledge and sharing the experiences of people who have achieved their professional goals through education. Thus, RITA seeks to inspire and motivate communities to continue education, showing different tools to access to education, and thus improve the quality of life of future generations.
