Since its founding in 2017, Fundación RITA (International Network for Transformation and Support) has worked with passion and commitment to transform lives and strengthen communities—especially in the María Teresa neighborhood of Cúcuta’s commune 10.
Over the years, we have reached significant milestones that reflect our impact and growth.
Thanks to your contributions, in 2024:

We provided uniforms and soccer cleats to the children of Fundación RITA’s free football school.

We maintained regular operations of the football school, consistently supporting two groups of children and youth. Each group enjoys two weekly training sessions and actively participates in flash tournaments.
🌟 Key Achievements Since 2017
🎁 Annual Solidarity Events
Every December, we bring joy and support to families in the María Teresa neighborhood. We distribute uniforms, cleats, and sports equipment to the children in our football school, and also offer recreational activities and free services like haircuts for people in vulnerable situations.
⚽ Fulfilling Dreams
In March 2024, six children from our football school had an unforgettable experience attending a professional football match at Estadio General Santander, thanks to a partnership with the company Bolsa Green T.
🏠 Project “Closing the Gap
This project, carried out in partnership with the TECHO Foundation, has provided 25 homes to vulnerable families in the María Teresa community in the city of Cúcuta.
🏫 2022 – Launch of the Sports Training School
We created a safe and educational space for children and youth, where they receive sports training twice a week and participate in flash tournaments. This program not only promotes physical health but also instills core values such as discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.
🎓 Educational Mentorships
We support high school seniors and recent graduates on their path to higher education. We provide personalized guidance, tools to plan their studies, and access to academic opportunities, including those abroad.
🔭 Looking Ahead to 2025
We aim to consolidate our current programs and expand our impact in the region. We will continue to invest in innovation, entrepreneurship, and community empowerment. We invite new allies to join our cause and help build a fairer and more prosperous future for Norte de Santander and Colombia.
